  • Goal: Comprehensive re-branding campaign

  • Summary: This +250,000 square-meter family entertainment center entrusted us to turn around their performances. In 2 years, we turned this company into a top brand in its category in the GCC (as per Gulf Marketing Review magazine).

CASE STUDY 2: FAST-MOVING CONSUMER GOODS - TOILETRY PRODUCTS

  • Goal: Brand restructuring 

  • Summary: We were assigned to revamp this regional brand of personal care and color cosmetics. The Seven Wise Men revamped their product packaging and pricing, and we expanded their product range to include men cosmetic products. We also developed a franchise program and launched a new chain of stores in 5 countries: the U.A.E., Oman, Iran, Syria, and Lebanon. Additional tasks included boosting exports to African markets.

CASE STUDY 3: FURNITURE AND KITCHEN CONTRACTOR

  • Goal: Boost revenues during the recession.

  • Summary: This medium-size contractor entrusted us to develop and implement a new business model. We assisted them to launch a new retail furniture showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road. Our contribution included market research and data analysis, in addition to the implementation of solutions and managing pre-opening preparations from start to finish. The new outlet generated USD 3.1 Million in new retail sales during the first year of operation.

CASE STUDY 4: MANUFACTURER OF BED AND HOME LINEN

  • Goal: Multiply market share and revenues

  • Summary: This manufacturer (a licensee of top international brands like Mattel and Walt Disney to mention only a few) was faced with declining sales and market share. We proposed them to develop more relatable characters that appeal to their multi-ethnic audiences in addition to revamping their packaging, labeling and pricing policies. We also improved their corporate identity and marketing communications. Export sales increased by 27% in 18 months.

CASE STUDY 5: STEEL FABRICATOR

  • Goal: New sales strategy.

  • Summary: This contractor had made a substantial investment in acquiring assets valued at USD 5.4 Million. However, they were faced with fierce competition by smaller contractors. The Seven Wise Men assisted the client to target the more lucrative market niches where demand and margins were higher because those segments had more complex technical requirements, which only a few fabricators can meet. In addition, we assisted them in networking with more contractors and end-users throughout the U.A.E.
